Middle East Peace Process - Dave Rand, AIPAC Regional Political Director (GNLA)

September 22, 2010, 6:30pm

Summary:

According to many, a nuclear Iran is one of the single biggest threats to American security. This week at the UN General Assembly in New York, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will undoubtedly make news as he continues to press his country’s case for nuclear capabilities.

Many would like to see the Obama Administration leading a charge to proactively disassemble the Iranian nuclear weapons program. Without that effort, it is feared by many that we will continue to see the further advancement by the Iranian regime to develop a weapon and the means to deliver a warhead.

Please join AIPAC Political Director, Dave Rand for an engaging discussion and in-depth look at the current Middle East Peace process, covering topics from negotiations between Israel and Palestine and how to deal with Iran. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee is the only American organization whose principal mission is to lobby the U.S. government about legislation that strengthens the relationship between the United States and Israel.
