Brent Harris, Managing Director of PIMCO - Newport Beach (GNOC)
February 16, 2010, 12:00pm
Summary:
More than a year ago we entered a recession and faced what many called one of our greatest financial crises in history. Now more than one in ten Americans are unemployed, and we have record debt levels exceeding $12 trillion. Despite government attempts to stimulate the economy through new taxes and regulations, we still have yet to see the silver lining. Brent Harris, Managing Director of PIMCO, is trying to work with the President and Congress on legislation that will provide financial solutions to foster competitiveness and smart, not burdensome financial regulation. Harris will join Gen Next for an intimate discussion on how PIMCO is helping navigate through expected regulatory reforms and what those reforms will mean to us and offer an insider lay of the economic landscape.
