Ali Jahangiri (Board Member of Gen Next)has worked professionally in the internet industry for the past decade: pioneering and growing multiple physician-to-patient interactive portals which serve a subscriber base of over one thousand physicians and millions of consumer visitors throughout the United States, founding multiple digital media holding companies with domain portfolios including thousands of websites, as well as conglomerating several internet properties which currently comprise the health care segment of Internet Brands (Nasdaq: INET).
After graduating from the University of California, Irvine in 1997, Ali Jahangiri received his JD from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Following that, he was recruited by top corporate securities firm Stradling, Yocca, Carlson, & Rauth, in Newport Beach where he began his career practicing corporate securities law and focused in the areas of corporate finance, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. In 2004, Mr. Jahangiri left the practice of law and launched OutClick Media, an internet marketing agency and online publishing company with a mission to scale the optimization of websites which furnish quality content for use by the average consumer, as well as an enhanced user-experience. OutClick Media is headquartered in Irvine, California.
Ali Jahangiri served as Founder and National Co-Chair of the Aviators for McCain Program and raised over 10M in this capacity. He appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger in 2009 to the State of California’s Law Revision Commission and appointed in 2010 by Governor Schwarzenegger to the Orange County Fair Board. Ali served his home state in these roles as the organization’s youngest member. He also finds time to serve his local community on the Board of Overseers at Loyola Law School and as ambassador to the Samuel Jordan Center at the University of California, Irvine School of Humanities.
