Glen Ackerman is CEO at inhouseIT and a founding board member and President of Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) a 5013c foundation.
Glen has been involved in the IT services business for the past 22 years. For 18 years he was CEO of Integration Technologies (ITI). ITI was one of the most successful IT technology companies servicing the mid market in Southern California. As a software development organization ITI provided site intelligence applications to many of the most recognized business leaders in the retail, restaurant and real estate markets. In 2004, ITI was acquired by a public company and Glen left to form a new business Baseline Systems. Baseline Systems, another IT services firm, was focused specifically on the elusive small business sector where he pioneered the innovative Managed Service Provider model, which delivers affordable and well managed network and computer support services to companies with fewer than 100 employees and no formal IT department. In 2006, Glen merged Baseline Systems with inhouseIT. This merger resulted in the most preeminent organization of its kind in their market segment.
Glen and his wife Lisa formed Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) in 2000. Starting in their living room with a few families TACA now supports over 3,500 families in Southern California and18,000 families nationwide. TACA provides information, resources, and support to families affected by autism. For families who have just received the autism diagnosis, TACA aims to speed up the cycle time from the autism diagnosis to effective treatments. TACA helps to strengthen the autism community by connecting families and the professionals who can help them, allowing them to share stories and information to help people with autism be the best they can be.
Glen graduated from the University of California Los Angeles where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.
