David Luzuriaga is Principal of Luzuriaga Taylor, Inc., a full service civil engineering and land surveying firm with offices in both Southern and Northern California.
David was raised in Southern California and attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for his B.S. in Civil Engineering. After graduating in 1993 he moved to San Francisco Bay Area to pursue work in the soils engineering sector. He had broad experience working for Treadwell & Rollo designing and inspecting building foundations in the very geologically diverse SF bay area. After changing focus to general civil engineering, he had the opportunity to start his own consulting practice in 1998 and located it in the City of Burlingame. His attention to detail and desire to exceed client expectations gained him a quick loyal following of clients. He expanded his practice in 2003 and opened an Orange County office. Now going on 10 years at the helm of his firm he has gained the respect of some of the largest and most prestigious architectural firms in the state.
David has been active in politics at the local level, as he served on the Planning Commission in the City of Burlingame and was considering a run for City Council before he relocated to Orange County. In Orange County he quickly found like minds politically and joined the Lincoln Club. The next natural progression was also Generation NeXt.
He currently resides in Ladera Ranch with his wife Karri and two sons. Hobbies include golf, snowboarding and poker. As a lifelong athlete, the complexity of life now limits his time.
