Richard C. Ham has long been known for his financial savvy and entrepreneurial approach to quality hospitality and fine dining. As managing partner of Hotel La Casa del Camino and Laguna Beach Inn in Laguna Beach and Hotel Menage in Anaheim's three of Orange County's premier boutique hotels, along with their highly acclaimed restaurants, he brings nearly two decades of experience to oversee the finest quality lodging with state-of-the-art dining ambiance. Richard's thorough knowledge of the hospitality industry, commitment to quality service and unwavering attention to detail makes Casa Resort Inc. one of Orange County's most revered hotels and dining establishments.
Richard began his career in the hospitality industry at Hilton Hotels Corporation, where he managed up to 1,200 team members at several flagships, including Hilton Portland, Hilton Anaheim and Hilton Costa Mesa. During his time with Hilton, he developed and incorporated operational strategies that increased gross revenues, oversaw three multi-million-dollar renovations, managed marketing programs and introduced initiatives that increased team member loyalty as well as guest satisfaction and ultimately drove bottom line.
At Casa Resort Inc., Richard oversees sales and marketing, finance and operations as well as the expansion of Casa Resort Inc. and its family of brands into existing and developing markets in Orange County. Richard is also a noted civic leader. He was an active board member of several associations, including Costa Mesa Visitors Bureau, Anaheim/Orange County Visitors Bureau, Anaheim Transportation Network, South Coast Metro Alliance and Orange County Tourism Council.
Ham graduated from Long Beach State with a degree in Public Administration and has also has received certificates from Cornell University's PDP program. An Irvine resident, Ham enjoys spending his free time skiing, playing golf and admiring exotic cars.
