Jeff Gehl is a Managing Principal and co-founder of RCP. He is responsible for leading the client relations function of the firm and is a member of the Investment Committee. In addition, Jeff is responsible for covering buyout funds in the western region of the United States. Jeff sits on the advisory boards of several of RCP's underlying funds. He has been involved in the private equity industry for over 10 years.
Prior to RCP, Jeff was involved in various stages of private equity including start-ups, turnarounds and buyouts. His experience has been both in the funding and financing of these transactions as well as in the senior operations of these enterprises. Jeff successfully founded and served as Chairman and CEO of MMI, a technical staffing company headquartered in Southern California, and acquired Big Ballot, Inc. (formerly The Marketing Centre, Inc.), a sports marketing firm.
Jeff received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California's Entrepreneur Program, where he received the 1989 Entrepreneur of the Year award.
