Dave Cavecche is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the West Coast Division of Suffolk Construction Company, Inc. Suffolk is one of the nation's largest privately held building contracting firms with main offices on the East Coast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and West Coast regions of the country with revenues in excess of one billion dollars. With over 25 years of construction industry experience, Dave is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the West Coast Division's business direction, strategy, work acquisition efforts and operational initiatives. In addition to his regional responsibilities, Dave is a member of the Suffolk Corporate Management Committee that meets quarterly to formulate policy for the entire corporation.

Suffolk's West Coast Division has effectively penetrated strong industry sectors with potential for continued growth, including the education sector. Under Dave's leadership, the West Coast Division was recently awarded the $106 million Los Angeles Unified School District South Region High School (LAUSD) project, which includes the new construction of a four-story building with 67 classrooms on a 13.7-acre site. Suffolk's West Coast Division was also responsible for managing construction of other notable projects, including Marriot Newport Coast Villas, Granite Park Towers, and Central Park West.

Prior to joining Suffolk Construction, Dave was the Director of Operations for Swinerton Builders where he was often recognized for his leadership and construction expertise. He received multiple awards including the Associated General Contractors Award of Excellence in Project Management, Construction Management Association of America Project Achievement Award for Collaboration, and Western Council of Construction Consumers Distinguished Award for Collaboration, among others for his work on such notable projects as Sony Studios, DreamWorks Animation Studios, Soka University.

Dave has also demonstrated a strong leadership role in the surrounding communities. Dave most recently led the effort to assemble Suffolk employee volunteers to finish two Habitat for Humanity houses in Fullerton, California.

Dave received his Bachelors Degree from the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences in General Building Construction Division from Arizona State University. At ASU, Davewas involved in Student Government and was the president and founder of the largest social club on campus, the ASU Ski Devils. He currently resides in Irvine, California with his wife Christine and two daughters Brooke and Ashley.
