Nicole DeMarco
Regional Director, San Diego
As the Gen Next San Diego Regional Director, Nicole DeMarco is responsible for regional development, membership selection and fulfillment, and program execution.
A Seattle native, Nicole landed in San Diego for school and a new adventure. With a heart for service, Nicole gravitates toward projects and groups that serve people and move ideas.
She's joining Gen Next San Diego as its first full-time Regional Director to manage the membership selection process, programming, organizational development, cultivation of strategic relationships, delivery of outputs and more.
Nicole recently worked at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, and she previously worked with local candidates, including Assemblyman Martin Garrick, Councilman Carl DeMaio and John McCann for State Assembly. The broad set of experience helped her to acquire skills from the roots of campaigns to the inner-workings of a state office to private sector service.
Nicole holds a B.A. from San Diego State University and studied international law and politics at Oxford University, New College.
In her free time, Nicole is with friends and family. She enjoys going to the beach, reading, anything with humor, and attempting to play golf.
