Natalie focuses on special projects which include everything from member relations to policies and communications internal and external. Whether big or small she enjoys the challenge that comes with working on multiple projects simultaneously - even when they don’t always coincide.

Prior to joining Gen Next, Natalie Alvarez worked as an Associate Strategist for a strategic consultancy, Outside Eyes. She worked with high profile nonprofits, athletes, and celebrities in the areas of message development, media relations and crisis management. Natalie currently serves as a Volunteer Instructor for Presidential Classroom which educates and motivates outstanding students to aspire to leadership by providing the highest quality civic education programs. An active alumnae of Sigma Kappa, Natalie serves on the Advisory Board of the Sigma Kappa chapter at UCI. She is also a volunteer with the Alzheimer's Association and has a heart for disadvantaged children. She has tutored at the Boys and Girls Club, and has traveled to orphanages in developing countries.

Natalie graduated from CSU Fullerton with a degree in Communications. This California native has a passion for the Spanish language. Proceeding college, she lived in Spain and studied Spanish culture at the University of Miguel Hernandez. In her spare time Natalie can be found reading, line dancing, traveling or spending time with friends and family.
