Regional Director, San Diego
As Regional Director of San Diego, Blair Kohn is responsible for enhancing the membership experience, member selection and fulfillment, chapter development and leveraging the network’s ability to maximize the impact of Gen Next’s initiatives.
An avid foodie and an experienced cook, Blair was diagnosed with Celiac disease as an adult. She experienced firsthand how overwhelming and challenging the transition is to recovery and a healthy lifestyle. At the time of diagnosis, the available gluten free options were limited, and she recognized the opportunity for a unique business model. Blair harnessed her passion for food and commanding knowledge of Celiac disease and founded “Follow UR Gut”, a Gluten Free consultancy in 2009 to assist private clients and local businesses in “going gluten-free”.
Prior to joining the Gen Next team, Blair worked at ParkerWhite as a Junior Account Executive where she devised and implemented a social media strategy for ParkerWhite, worked on business development, and helped manage over 100k in media insertions. Additionally, Blair developed an execution plan for a multi-faceted charity event.
Blair also worked as the Project Coordinator at IdeaHaus for “20 Years in Communication”, a project that integrated responses from communications experts into a comprehensive video analysis and the American Marketing Association’s (AMA) “Cause Conference”. The AMA’s “Cause Conference” is the West Coast’s largest cause partnership event featuring experts in cause marketing, nonprofit resource development, community relations, new media technology, and corporate social responsibility. Blair has also worked in event planning and media coordination for a local author and assisted in Hyperion’s acquisition of the originally self-published book.
She holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in Marketing from San Diego State University.
