Dan Hughes is the President and Owner of Coast Environmental Inc, an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and a life safety services provider to hospitals and to healthcare facilities. Their services include fire stopping, fire damper surveys, and containment for infection control, HVAC systems cleaning and refurbishment, mold remediation, cooling tower cleaning and medical gas systems test and certification.
Prior to Coast Environmental Dan worked for Plastic Technology Group where he was responsible for Sales, Operations and Finance for a custom injection molding business providing products primarily to the medical diagnostics and device industries
Dan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Kettering University in Flint, MI and his MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.
A native from Buffalo, NY, Dan now lives in Oceanside with his wife and 4 children—ages 1-10. Dan has been actively involved in leadership positions within his church and the YMCA. He is an avid supporter of many charitable organizations, including Scripps Hospital, Children’s Hospital, Cancer for College and many others. Dan's philosophy has always been to give back to the community, especially when times are tough.
