Brian Vowinkel (Regional Board Member) is the founder and CEO of Ranger Select. Previously he opened and managed the Northwest Regional Office for Convergent Wealth Advisors where he led a team advising wealthy families and foundations with assets over $1.6 billion. Brian is an invited speaker at Hedge Fund Conferences, and he was recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager* in the Northwest.
As a managing director and equity partner of Convergent, Brian served on the national investment committee overseeing $13 billion in assets to evaluate investment ideas, determine asset allocations, select traditional and alternative managers, plus establish policies for individuals, endowments, and institutions. Prior to that Brian worked at Goldman Sachs in the investment management division in New York and in Seattle.
Brian is proud of his service to our country, earning the rank of Major in the US Army. He commanded an infantry company in the famed 1st Cavalry Division and served in an elite special unit. Brian is a graduate of West Point and Harvard Business School. He is married to the former Susie Richards and has devoted time to the following community service and recreational activities:
