Keith B. Jones is the Managing Principal and Chief Operating Officer of Ace Parking Management, Inc., a private company with more than 450 locations and approximately 5,000 employees throughout the Western United States. As the company’s chief business agent, Keith has led the corporate strategy and operations for the company since 2004, including Ace Parking’s expansion and evolution as the nation’s premier parking company. In his role, Keith is responsible for the strategic and creative operational vision of the company, along with ensuring the company’s growth and profitability. Keith also oversees the company’s new business initiatives.
Starting in 1950 and founded by Keith’s grandfather, Evan V. Jones, Ace Parking successfully branched out from its San Diego, CA based location to across the country, providing a full range of parking services from Office, Retail and Mixed-Use Buildings, and Hotel and Valet Services to Airport Parking and Shuttles, Stadiums, Arena and Event Parking to Hospitals and Medical Centers. Now in its 60th year, the company services more than 350,000 customers per day and has realized in excess of $335 million in annual revenues. With a reputation for exceeding the financial objectives of its clients and delivering the highest possible level of customer service (the company’s mantra); Ace Parking is positioned for continued growth.
Keith was born and raised in San Diego, CA and is a fourth generation San Diegan, whose ancestry stems from two prominent San Diego families: The Burnham's and the Jones' - most notable for their philanthropic contributions, vision, and civic leadership. These qualities are also a part of Keith’s DNA. Keith believes strongly in giving back to his community and when he is not engaged in charitable work, he spends his time serving as an Executive or Board member to some of San Diego’s most distinguished organizations. Keith is a Board member of the San Diego Chambers Executive Committee; the Downtown San Diego Partnership; the Partnerships Executive Committee; the Board of Directors of Father Joe's Toussaint Academy in San Diego; the Regional Executive Committee member of Gen Next, an exclusive organization of successful business professionals whose mission is to tackle tough issues facing future generations, and is the youngest Board member ever on record to serve on the board of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Keith is the co-founder of the Herb Klein Leadership Roundtable as well as a member of San Diego Rotary 33.
Prior to Ace Parking, Keith attended New York University (NYU), where he graduated with a B.A. in philosophy and a minor in business. Interestingly, Keith was attending NYU on 9/11. He has many memories from that horrific day and recalls that moment as the “paradigm shift” in his life. After that, his vocation was to gain a deeper understanding of the universe and its people and cultures.
Keith’s personal and professional development was not without challenges. In second grade, Keith was diagnosed with severe Dyslexia. For many years, he struggled with this disorder, but refused to play the role of victim and give in to circumstances. By sheer will and determination, Keith began to shape his life’s path from an early age and later overcame his learning disability. Later, he used his personal experience and struggles to help other students overcome their disability as well as educate teachers and parents to better understand and cope with dyslexic children. To this day, Keith is a continued advocate and supporter of the Learning Disabled.
Keith learned his strong work ethic from his father Scott and has instilled his father’s values of quality, customer focus, teamwork and ethics into the Company.
Keith Jones currently lives in La Jolla, CA with his beautiful wife, Megan who works for Qualcomm.
