Christopher Deutsch is a serial entrepreneur and has spent over a dozen years working with numerous high-tech and e-commerce start-ups in many different capacities, including marketing, branding, business development, PR and M&A. Christopher has also focused on giving back to the community through charity work, social entrepreneurship, volunteer coaching and mentoring college and graduate school students.

In Christopher's current role as VP of Business Development and a co-founder of RouteCloud, he is creating a partner ecosystem to complement their family safety technology platform, Protector, which is a joint venture with TASER International. Christopher began his career as a founding team member at Vstore, where he helped form and grow the company through several rounds of venture funding. As Director of Business Development and part of the founding team at Vcommerce, an enterprise-class e-commerce platform, he developed strategic partnerships with Google, Paypal, Omniture, RightNow Technologies and Fast Search. He was also Co-Founder & Director of Product Development for Clickthebutton, a price comparison service that marketed products from 300 leading online stores to more than 30 million consumers. Leveraging his entrepreneurial experience, Christopher co-founded C9 Innovations, a business accelerator, where he identified highly scalable start-up companies and developed strategies for accelerating their growth. Christopher was later Co-Founder & Director of Business Development for Specialty Retail Shops, where he managed the M&A candidate pipeline for niche online retailers and assisted in numerous PR and Marketing activities. Just prior to RouteCloud, he ran partnerships and strategic alliances for WinBuyer, as well as led several key marketing initiatives, including the definition of a new vertical within the broader e-commerce solutions industry.

Christopher received his BA in Economics from Vassar College, where he was Vice President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, captain of the varsity lacrosse team, an all-conference rugby player and a member of both the basketball and sailing teams. He has also volunteered as both head and assistant lacrosse coaches for Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, where he helped lead the team to five state title game appearances and three championships in six years. Christopher is a member of the Arizona Chapter of TiE, a founding board member of the Phoenix Vassar Club and a frequent speaker and panelist at Thunderbird Business School's entrepreneurship program.

After coaching for several years, Christopher recognized a great need to help student-athletes gain exposure to college recruiters, so he founded Lax Scout, an organization that enables students to leverage their athletic abilities to benefit their educational pursuits. Lax Scout has garnered widespread recognition from sources such as Sports Illustrated for helping students in 28 states, Canada and Australia.
