Roman Tsunder(co-Founder of Gen Next)is an evangelist for the youth industry (p14-34), which by 2010 will be the largest demographic in terms of size and consumer spending in the US - over 88 million people who spend nearly $1.2 Trillion annually.
Roman is currently the founder and president of Access 360 Media, Inc. access360media.com, the Nation's largest digital Out-of-Home media network that connects to over 140MM young adult consumers each month in over 14,000 locations through the communication platforms that matter most to them - In-store, Online and Mobile. It all started when Roman launched the 1st celebrity hosted in-store network called 'Seal TV' featuring artists such as No Doubt, Ashanti and Good Charlotte. Roman recognized the unique opportunity for retailers, brands and artists to come together and create an entertaining shopping experience. AYM's success can be attributed to a great team and partners such as AT&T, Omnicom, CBS, Fox, Pepsi, Warner Music, f.y.e., Vans, Game Crazy, 20th Century Fox and Bessemer Venture Partners.
In 2009, Roman created the PTTOW! Summit, an invite only event bringing together 30 top execs from the world's most innovative companies to discuss the future of the youth industry, representing every major industry category, including: wireless (AT&T), clothing (Quiksilver); gaming (Activision), social media (Facebook), technology (HP), online video (YouTube), beverage (Pepsi), athletes (Kelly Slater) and the US Government.
In 2008, Roman helped to found the Alliance of Youth Movements (AYM) youthmovements.howcast.com, a partnership with the US Department of State, Facebook, Google, Howcast, MTV and YouTube bringing together leaders of pioneering youth movements from around the world to launch a global network designed to empower young people to mobilize against violence and oppression.
Roman is also a founder and board member of Gen Next gen-next.org, a non-profit organization focused on "affecting change for the next generation." Roman's focus is on education and youth outreach.
Roman has extensive operating and private equity experience specializing in social media, digital technology and consumer products.
Roman has been recognized as a "Rising Star: 40 under 40" by OC Magazine and Chain Store Age. Roman is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received a B.A. in International Economics with Distinctive Honors, and holds a certificate in Language and Business Management from Moscow State University.
