Quy "Q" Nguyen (OC Executive Committee Member) is the CEO of Allyance Communications, Inc. Quys' leadership, vision and entrepreneurial spirit are the driving forces behind the creation, growth and ongoing success of Allyance. Since 2002, Allyance has steadily experienced double digit growth year after year. Prior to Allyance, Quy was the Co-founder and Executive Vice President for Cercanet, Inc., a "Venture Catalyst Company" with suite of services including Venture Funding, Executive Staffing, and eServices. Quy was responsible for heading up the eServices division (Cercanet eServices Corp.) which included day to day operations, marketing, sales and implementing strategic alliances with industry's leading carriers, such as: AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Qwest, Level(3) and Global Crossing. Prior to Cercanet, Quy started in the Silicon Valley branch of Qwest Communications, a leader in scalable and secure broadband Internet-based data, voice and image communications (NYSE:Q). Quy spent several years at Qwest in sales, business development and marketing and eventually moved to the exploding Orange County market. Prior to Qwest, Quy was a sales director for Pro-tech Staffing International, Inc.
Quy's active involvement within the community is an understatement. His passion is based around children's related charities. Over the last 10 years, Quy has volunteered as a board member, assistant director, staff, team leader and counselor for CampFootprints.com, a non-profit public benefit organization whose purpose is to run an annual summer camp for children with and without disabilities and children from economically disadvantaged homes. Quy is pleased to serve on the Business Development Council for FestivalofChildren.org with Sandy Sergerstrom. For the past several years, Quy has served on the fundraising committee for charities such as the Tim Salmon foundation, Rod Carew's Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, Down Syndrome of OC, and Talking about Curing Autism (TACA). Besides community outreach, Quy Nguyen is on the Board of Directors from Wescom Credit Union ($8Billion in Assets) and Wescom Holdings, LLC. Quy is a former Board member for United Business Media's XChange Group (LON:UBM), Level(3) (NASDAQ: LVLT) Channel Advisory Council and NTT's Channel Advisory Council. Quy is an active member of Gen Next and the PacificClub.org. Quy studied Economics and minored in Business Management at University of California, Irvine (UCI) and attended the Executive Education program at USC's Marshal School of Business.
