TODD RUSTMAN FEATURED IN WSJ ARTICLE
Todd Rustman was recently featured in the article 'Aging Baby Boomers Need a Bucket Brigade'. "Managing distribution is much harder than managing accumulation," says Todd Rustman. 'For one thing, he says, there are more variables, primarily the addition of mortality to infamous unknowables such as market conditions. Rustman divides a retiree's money into five-year buckets, and invests each bucket as a separate nest egg based on analytics that factor in longevity, gains and average inflation. MANUEL RAMIREZ ELECTED PRESIDENT OF CALIFORNIA BOARD OF ACCOUNTANCY
CEO and President Manuel J. Ramirez, CPA, has been unanimously elected president of the California Board of Accountancy (CBA) by its 15-member board. A resident of Laguna Niguel, Calif., Ramirez served as the CBA's vice president in 2009 and has been an active board member of the organization since his appointment by Gov. Schwarzenegger in 2007.
As president, Ramirez will further the CBA's mission to develop, enforce and maintain statewide accountancy practice standards by centering the organization's focus on ethics and education. Under his leadership, the board will work to further establish the industry's reputation as one of the most ethical professions in the country through new ethics requirements and the recently-adopted mandatory peer review program.
